BOARD OF DIRECTORS
GALENA COUNTRY ESTATES HOMEOWNERS MEETING
February 17, 2015
1. Roll Call: Present were Sam Macias, Judy Baatrup, Eddie Lorton
Treasurer, Julie Freemyer; Not Present: Robin Orr
2. Homeowner appeared before the board to discuss violation notice sent
3. Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer’s Report for January, 2015 Account balance: $28,692 – Reserve balance: $13,813 Total A/R: $9,982 Reminder: Past due accounts of 2 billing periods are subject to lien. All liens filed will be verified against balance due just prior to filing. Administrative Fee of $50 will be assessed at time of filing.
4. CC&R Violations: Various discussion on violation notices sent. Violation notices sent for Trailers and RV’s not parked behind a fence.
5. Old Business:
• Eddie will speak to the person that cleared the fence line along Mt Rose Hwy and will schedule him to clear the fence line on the west side of Telluride. Will ask to put down weed pre-emergent.
6. New Business:
• HOA Community Garage Sale scheduled for Saturday, April 11 7am – 2pm
• General Meeting will be held at the S. Valleys Library on Tuesday, March 31 at 7pm
• There have been Raccoon sightings in the neighborhood. If anyone has suggestions on how to get rid of the raccoons, please contact a board member or post suggestions on the message board.
• Need three people to each serve one year on the board for 2015 – 2016
• Any suggestions on improvements to the neighborhood are greatly appreciated.
