The amended CC&R’s were approved by Judge Connie J. Steinheimer in February, 2023, and are now recorded with Washoe County. The reason for going before a judge is that the HOA Board has tried unsuccessfully for more than 10 years to get 75% of GCE homeowners to submit a vote on whether or not to approve the amended CC&R’s. The judge’s approval puts all 249 homeowners under the same set of rules. Going forward, a change to the CC&R’s will require 50% of homeowners to vote for or against. The ultimate goal is to protect and enhance the value, desirability and attractiveness our subdivision.
