Yes, building a 6 ft fence around the backyard is permissible. Per the GCE CC&R’s: 1.16 Fences, Retaining Walls, and hedges No rear or side fence, retaining wall or hedge within the subdivision shall be more than six (6) feet in height, and no front yard fence, retaining wall, or hedge shall exceed three feet in height without the express written approval of the Architectural Committee. No chain link or metal woven fence shall be permitted. All fences shall be in harmony with the motif and high quality of GALENA COUNTRY ESTATES. No direct access shall be allowed from any lot to the Mt. Rose Highway except as may be needed for fire access and as required by Washoe County. Thank you for your question. Marked as spam
