South Valleys Library is located near the foothills of Mt. Rose, in the South Valleys Regional Sports Complex. The bold exterior of the library is complemented by stunning views of Mt. Rose and downtown Reno from the interior. Enjoy the views as you sit in the comfortable reading room. The Teen Zone is designed to provide young adults with a comfortable place to read and do homework. We have 26 public computers free to use for Internet access, Microsoft Office suite, and library catalogs. Wireless Internet is available throughout the library, including the Business Center.

Exhibits in the John Ben Snow Art Gallery rotate regularly throughout the year. Children are quick to select materials from the Nell J. Redfield Young People’s Library with child-sized furniture, expansive views, and friendly staff. Citizens in our community find our community rooms a convenient place to meet, both during and after library hours.

South Valleys Library is truly a destination library. The entire family will can find a program to attend, materials to check out, and a place to join others in our library.
