GALENA COUNTRY ESTATES HOMEOWNERS MEETING

July 17, 2012

1. Roll Call: Present were Sam Macias, Don Verhoef, Judy Baatrup, Kate Cardinalli and Eddie Lorton  Not present:  Julie Freemyer
2. Homeowner attended meeting to discuss the speed humps.
3. Treasurer’s Report:  Account balance: $15,286 – Reserve balance: $14,921. Total A/R: $15,819   Reminder:  Past due accounts of 2 billing periods are subject to lien.  All liens filed will be verified against balance due just prior to filing.  Administrative Fee of $50 will be assessed at time of filing.
4. CC&R Violations:

Various discussion on violation notices sent and further action to be taken.

Mainly notice of Boats and Trailers not behind 6ft fence and Weed Notices.

1. Old Business:
   1. Speed Humps –Further discussion on issue of installing speed humps.  HOA will research permits needed to install.  Homeowners received “request for signature” on petition to add undulation on Telluride and Sundance in their June, 2012 Dues Request.  Signed petitions were received both in favor and against the proposal to install.  HOA Board is continuing to move forward and will approach the county with the request.

NOTE:  The written request to the county must be in petition form, signed by at least one-half (1/2) of the property owners along the affected street.  The form will include the printed name, address and signature of the requesting citizens and an explanation of why speed humps are desired.

1. Park Sidewalk Status – Paperwork with the county was delayed. Approval Received. Park path work to be completed in August.
2. New Business:
   1. Possible irrigation leak on island on Sundance.  HOA will contact Signature Landscape.
   2. Next Meeting date: Tuesday, Aug 21, 2012 at 6:45pm.
