Vehicles Burglarized on Deer Valley Court – Approx time, Midnight Sunday, Jan 29

There were several unlocked cars broken into early Monday morning before 2:00 am. Based on the surveillance video that several residents had there were two males that parked their car at the bottom of Deer Valley Court around 1:15 am and walked in the direction of Deer Valley Drive, they returned to the Court around 1:48 am and preceded to enter each unlocked car and taking small amounts of change and then got back in their car and drove off. The car appeared to be a small hatchback.

It does not appear anything of value was taken from the cars and no garage door openers were taken.

The Sheriff’s office was called around 7 am and they were on site right away, several police reports were filed along with a copy of one of the surveillance videos.

As I stated above, the two males appeared to walk down the street and from our discussion with the Sheriff there were no other calls or police reports made.

Please contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s office and/or submit a report online if a crime has been committed. It is important that any crime in the neighborhood is tracked as this will motivate the WC Sheriff’s office to patrol the neighborhood on a regular basis. This is also a reminder to everyone to keep all doors locked.
