I agree with this one. I walk my infant son and people fly around the corners and into the cul-de-sac on Snowmass Ct. It’s typically the same people too….

I spoke with Merrie Lightner, Assistant to the Community Relations office. Her phone number is (775) 785-6228. She said that on http://www.washoesheriiff.com website, under ”File an Online Report”, at the very bottom of the screen is an option titled “Traffic Complaints”. By clicking this option you can register a traffic complaint. A crime report will not be started, but the complaint will be forwarded to the appropriate people for review. Merrie also said that resolution is more likely to happen if many people file a complaint.
Please file a complaint. This is the only way Washoe County Sheriff will take action to stop the speeders in our neighborhood.
I was also given one other name and phone number, Tami Cummings, Community Relations Administrator, (775) 785-6205. You may contact Tami in addition to filing the report.
Thank you for your inquiry. Please consider attending our monthly board meeting to discuss any concerns.
